Plot
Stuck living the same day over, a weatherman basically becomes God. Is there more to this? Sure, but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m not posting this on Groundhog day.
Pros
Bill Murray is great, meaning he’s a douche in this. The supporting cast is also good, but they play second fiddle to Bill Murray. The story is great and pretty well-executed.
Cons
The movie begins to get boring…after the 1,000th watch. 
I think the worst thing is honestly the fact that I forgot to publish this on Groundhog day, silly me.
Fun Fact: Tom Hanks was once considered for the lead, but he was eventually not picked because he was “too nice”.

Eh, Hanks would have been all wrong for this. It’s one of my favorite comedies, and Murray makes it so.
I couldn’t picture Hanks either. All I can imagine is Forrest Gump living the same day over and over.
The loop would never end, because he wouldn’t be able to figure out the moral of the story!
