OK, so you’re probably wondering why I’m having a lot less reviews these past few days. Trust me, I’m just as bummed that I’m not pumping out as many reviews. I wish I were able to, but at the moment I’ve been up to my neck in homework and the show House of Cards. I’ve reviewed the first half of that show and I’m nearly done. Once I am finished, I will probably start watching movies again. Sadly, I’m pretty sure that I’ll be pretty busy with school this semester. I’m actually taking homework heavy classes this semester, which isn’t too fun.
In the next few days you might see reviews of The Decoy Bride, Contraband, Sleeping Dogs (The Zodiac Tournament DLC) and some other stuff that I haven’t seen yet.
Study well, Austin!
Thanks, I hope to.
Can’t wait to hear your take on ‘House of Cards’.
I just can’t wait to finish the season. I must know what happens next! I need some free time.
I was thinking about picking up Sleeping Dogs somewhere down the line. How is it overall?
It’s one of my favorite games of the current console generation. You can probably get it for a really good price now that it’s been out for a few weeks.
Holy shit, I wasn’t expecting that much of an endorsement. That’s high praise, indeed. To gauge that, what open world games do you really like?
Yeah, and they’re not even paying me! Wish they would.
I liked The Godfather, it had its flaws, but it was entertaining nonetheless. GTA IV was a disappointment (mostly due to being over-hyped), and it had the worst driving mechanics. True Crime: Streets of LA was a nice change of pace and still had some comedic moments, but it too wasn’t perfect. Saints Row was OK and Saints Row 2 was great. I’m not too far in Saints Row: The Third, but it has been very entertaining so far. Hope that helps.
Saint’s Row 2 is damn great, and I was absolutely disappointed with GTA IV. Niko Bellic is one of the worst written characters in recent memory.
Yeah, The only reason that I’m excited for GTA V is to see if they’ll redeem themselves. But I rarely try to get my hopes up because I’m typically disappointed by the time the game comes out.
IMO, Rockstar has been doing a lot better with non-GTA titles, like Red Dead.
Are you playing Saints Row the Third on 360 or ps3? I have it on 360, but I haven’t turned it on yet. Co-op could be in order.
I have it on Steam. I would rather have it on my 360, because I’m an achievement nerd, but my brother bought it for me as a gift, so I can’t complain with free.
Ah, damn. You should email me your gamertag.

Sounds good.
TV does have a tendency to get in the way of everything else, doesn’t it? I remember my friend in college skipped three days of class to watch Lost. I was never quite that bad, but I’ve definitely fallen behind on critical tasks due to TV. Smallville was especially bad about that – 10 seasons, 42 minutes an episode! I didn’t have a chance.
Mmm, Smallville. I ruined many nights watching that series on DVD, luckily I didn’t miss school because of it. My brother’s the more skip school for CSI: Miami reruns kind of person.
Same here haha, coursework!
I forgot how much of an annoyance “normal” classes are. Too much work!
